On Thursday there was a plane crash were a 53 year-old man, software engineer, crashed his plane in to a IRS building in Austin Texas. The 53 year-old man, Joseph Stack ended up killing himself and a 67 year-old IRS employee. I guess the biggest question on everyone's mind is “was it a Criminal act or domestic terrorism?” The authorities are leaning more to the idea that it was an act of domestic terrorism. The man was postings complaints about “big brother” (IRS) just hours before the incident occurred. The authorities are saying that this was not related to Al Qaeda or the war; it was just a personal grudge against IRS.
I think this guy is crazy. The scary thing is that he is a well educated man. We never assume someone that is educated would do a insane thing like this. Why didn't the man just pay his taxes? I think the author is bias of the idea that this was an act o domestic terrorism and not a criminal act. This is a serious issue right now. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/02/05/health/main6177909.shtml?tag=mncol;lst;1

Jenny Craig Ends Ad Campaign after Lawsuit
Associated Press
International
Jenny Craig has agreed to stop the campaign featuring actress ,Valerie Bertinelli ,as part of the legal settlement. The Ad on TV where Valerie is wearing the lab coat, and says that there was a cynical trial were women of jenny Craig lost up to twice more weight than weight watchers was false. There was no clinical trial that compared weight watchers to Jenny Craig. They were actually two separate trials comparing weight watchers and Jenny Craig to do-it-on-your-own diets. CEO of Jenny Craig, Patti Larchet, said that they did a clinical trial against the weight watcher method. She also said, “In fact, Jenny Craig has such faith in its program and feels so confident about it's performance in clinical trials that we challenge Weight Watchers to compete directly with us in a head-to-head clinical trial.”
I think this is a issue that is important now. This news about the Jenny Craig campaign has all the viewers not wanting to try Jenny Craig. I mean who wants to try something were the company is a fake. I think the author is not bias but is very objective.
There may be a simple blood test to identify a debilitating form of arthritis before the symptoms visible. This may even stop the disease before it is to late. About 1.3 million Americans have this autoimmune disease that causes pain swelling and inflammation of the joints. The earlier you are diagnose the more chance you have of not having long term joint pain. A new study has found that they can detect inflammation in the blood stream before symptoms appear. If this could help doctors diagnose rheumatoid arthritis and help prevent joint damage. Researchers say that the test is about 86 percent accurate. Yet doctors and researchers still stress that the test is not practical yet, but could be very helpful in the future.
I think this is exciting news. This could really help a lot of people. I think this is an important issue for the future. I think the author is bias of the idea that this could potentially help hundreds of people avoid the pain of rheumatoid arthritis.
Americans are eager to help victims of Haiti. What a lot of Americans don't know is some “text to help” charities are scams. Warnings of fake charity or unorganized organization are the buzz of the moment. Two known and reliable services are “Texting HAITI to 90999” and “Texting YELE to 501501”. Even All Headline News said, “Reports of Haitian 'text to donate' scams rising. Only give to organizations you recognize, have researched yourself or are referred by trusted source.” It has been repeated not all “text to help” charities are scams; but Americans should be on the look out for any unknown of fishy charities services.
I think this is terrible. I just can't believe what kind of low life people would take money from people in need. This is a very important issue right now. People are in need, and should be on the look out for fake charities. I think this author is bias of the idea that charities scams are bad and everyone should be extra careful on picking a charity or organization to help Haiti victims.
